Beer and Branding!

I've been working on this little side project for my local AIGA chapter's Beer and Branding event.

The goal is to team up with a home brewer and create a label for the beer they create using the secret ingredient. This year's secret ingredient was grapefruit! So as those of you who are familiar with beer know, this means there were TONS of folks making IPA's, as it is an easy ingredient to pair with their bitter flavor, and the fermentation period is short.

My brewer already had a name for this beer, Snaq Paq. Spelled with a "Q" but just like the little pudding cups. He said that his beer would be under 100 calories a bottle, and the beer wouldn't be as bitter since he added the hops in late, and the grapefruit early on in the fermentation process. As for the overall design, he suggest fun and funky, but mainly just said "it's in your hands"

I still have to add in the info on the beer to my design, and test it out on a beer bottle mock up. My plan is to have the cup of the label sitting towards the bottom of the bottle, and maybe try featuring it on a shorter fat bottle. I will repost that here once it's finished!
