Red Sox Scores: August 17, 2016
With an afternoon game scheduled for the next day in Detroit, the Sox were happy for the second game in their two-game series against the Orioles the get called in the sixth inning. Boston’s offense, led by Betts, Bradley Jr., and León, chased Baltimore’s starting pitcher, Dylan Bundy, out of the game after just 4⅓ innings, picking up nine hits and five runs and ultimately leading by seven before the rain took over.
