Gooey Sphere — Function Representation with Monolith

Press L if you want to see more!

While working at Autodesk, I've been developing workflows to translate voxel model information (created with Monolith) into 3D-printable instructions (i.e. printing paths) in G-code—the most-used numeric control programming language.

Monolith—a recent acquisition of Autodesk—is a voxel-based engine for multi-material 3D printing, and is available for free at monolith.zone/download.

I'll soon be posting a more in-depth post about how this is done and how you can use mathematical formulas to generate geometry on Monolith.

Thanks!
