Red Sox Scores: July 25, 2016
Drew Pomeranz wasn’t able to catch a break in his second start with his new team. The starter only gave up a couple of runs — a two-run homer in the sixth inning to former Sox up-and-comer Jose Iglesias — but picked up the loss. The usually productive offense was quieted by Justin Verlander, scoring just twice and striking out seven times.
