Red Sox Scores: July 21, 2016
Mookie Betts sent the first pitch of the game out of the ballpark, setting the tone for the rest of the night. Betts, Bogaerts, and Ortiz each collected three hits but the star of the show was Dustin Pedroia who went five-for-five with two doubles in the 13-run slugfest. Stephen Wright kept Minnesota’s bats quiet, giving up only four hits over eight innings while striking out nine.
