100 Pencils

Binge listening to @Andy J. Miller 's Creative Pep Talk has sparked this need for to explore new styles and techniques, leading to this personal creative project/experiment, 100 Pencils. The goal is to use the same basic subject, form, and color scheme for all illustrations to really force me to concentrate on the styles themselves.

At first it was only going to be a series of 10, which then evolved to 25. When I got to #6, I kid you not, I actually thought to myself there is no way I would be able to come up with 25 different styles. Once I realized I was being an self-doubting idiot, I decided to extend the challenge to 100 pencils within 100 days.

Rather than fill my dribbble up with 100 illustrations of pencils, I created a separate tumblr account you can find here but I'll occasionally post my super faves here.

Today marks day 7 of this grand pencil adventure. Where will it lead me next? (Weird pencil pun, I know)
