My five-year-old likes to check the status of the activity rings on my watch, but she doesn't think that move, exercise, and stand are the most interesting metrics. She described a “cat ring” that would help you track the number of times you pet a cat during the day.

That sounded too good not to sketch. I asked her how it should work and she described a purple ring, with a button in the center with a picture of a cat (the whole cat, not just the face), and the name Cat Ring.

The rest was watchOS history. 😻
