Gas Lamp

Took a pitstop in New Orleans on a family trip to the East Coast last week and was inspired by the the colors and the incredibly intricate wrought iron on the buildings and hardware around the city. Here's a fleur-de-lis lamppost inspired by a cafe on Magazine St.

Lessons learned: curves and spirals in Illustrator (even ones this simple) are much harder than I expected.
