The Rift Herald is SBNation’s new League of Legends blog. “Rift” refers to the Summoner’s Rift, which is the largest map in the game, represented inside of the gold circle. The eye represents an immortal monster and, combined with the idea of a “herald,” nods to the blog's all-knowing editorial content.
