The Source

Shot over the course of six, charity: water's inaugural virtual reality film THE SOURCE takes viewers on a journey to Ethiopia, where they will watch firsthand as a community gets clean water from the first time. The film has travelled across the country from businesses to conferences to 400 people watching simultaneously inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art for charity: water's 2015 annual gala.

I worked on branding a series of posters, signs, and promotional graphics for the film, and literally built these all these images from a handful of iPhone shots that happened to be taken over the course of filming. To offset the 360-degree full-color nature of a VR film, we presented these pieces in a stark black-and-white, hinting at the technical nature of the film but also to create the ambience and emotional atmosphere that you'll experience while inside the headset.
