I've learnt a lot since I moved from NY to Seoul last August to help a friend with his startup. Working in a startup in a foreign culture, things can get out of hand quickly and keeping your head cool at all time is the only way to keep your sanity.

I picked up the quote ('If you lose your cool, you lose') somewhere on Quora, can't recall from whom but it has sticked in my head ever since.

In this post I use a really simple method to slice & manipulate svg in html & css. However if you have more than 10 slices (I had 50) it's probably better to just rely on js... If you know a better way please teach me :)
