UX App Prototype

I just recently finished a 10-week UX course at General Assembly. Our goal is to find a user centered problem and solve for that within an app through user interviews, rapid pop app testing, wireframing, iterations, user testing, heuristics, and create a minimum viable product.

Within the course, I learned a lot as a designer and how a lot of our "designs" are opinion or theory based. Through UX, you take opinion out of the equation and really design for what the real end user issues are. A lot of times, we designers feel like we are the users or understand the users well without even researching and most importantly, interviewing them.

Learning the UX process has given me more leverage in my traditional graphic design process.
