A Bold Web Presence for IT Arena 2023
IT Arena is the largest tech event in Ukraine and Eastern Europe for IT professionals, product managers, business analysts, entrepreneurs, and startup founders.
Held annually in Lviv, Ukraine, and organized by IT Cluster — the largest community of IT companies in Ukraine. More than 5,000 attendees from all over the world gather for three days of discussions, business networking, and inspiration.
IT Arena celebrated its tenth anniversary, marking a decade of technological progress despite significant challenges, including a pandemic and a full-scale war in Ukraine. Yet, it has remained a key event and a place of power for European tech professionals. In 2023, the conference continued to uphold its reputation by featuring insights from top experts, including representatives from Warner Bros., Gartner, Simulmedia, Respeecher, and others. Given the political landscape, such international support and high-level projects are especially valuable for Ukraine.

Energy in Motion: A Visual Language of Light and Progress
IT Arena is an important and high-profile event in the life of the participants and the Ukrainian tech industry in general, which is why bright mesh gradients became a cross-cutting element in the graphic language. We used and updated the existing brand colors — yellow and orange. We used them to create a dynamic and loud design. Gradients have a vector of movement, and dynamics, and are associated with light flows. Here we have revealed two ideas — to convey the pomp of an event filled with light, media content, and thoughts worth hearing from market leaders. The second idea is much more subtle: technologies are moving and changing at the speed of light, and by attending this event, you will be ahead of them.
With static and confident typography, we also communicate that the Arena is a recognized, trustworthy event that combines movement with a sense of power and confidence.
UI/UX: Clarity Amid Complexity
The IT Arena website had to handle an immense amount of information—agenda details, dozens of speakers, four thematic tracks, a three-day schedule, and multiple locations. Managing this content in a way that felt intuitive and digestible was a top priority.
The design approach embraced minimalism with a strong visual hierarchy. Bold, heavy headlines provided structure, while clean linear elements and restrained body text ensured readability. To balance this clarity with a sense of excitement, the interface incorporated vivid photography and color accents, creating an engaging, eye-catching effect. The result was a functional yet visually dynamic experience that guided users effortlessly through the event’s extensive offerings.
