C̶o̶n̶t̶e̶x̶t̶

This three-part book of essays on design, medium, and context is printed on three types of paper, sheared, and perfect bound in various directions. The typography is styled to be cohesive and play with the book’s medium yet it remains abstract and layered. The covers’ patterns clue one in to pick apart the typographic rhythm within and understand how its type, image, and message relate. It is not until one looks at the backside of the book that any semblance of context can be found.
