This shot is part of a project that I’ve worked on in late 2014, alongside the Tradiio team on the second major iteration of their music discover mobile app.
After two intensive weeks of brainstorming, together with foundational work, such as the creation of wireframes and navigation flows, we were on a stage in which we decided to start exploring visual design concepts that would lead to a common and solid design language, which would then be applied across the entire product.
Each one of us (André Santos, Jorge Olino, Miguel Mendes and Wence Ye) created a baseline experiment that would empower us to come up with different exploratory paths.
What I'm presenting in this shot, is my attempt of providing a clean and down-to-earth approach to the Discover screen.
I hope you enjoy it.
Please make sure you check out the @2x preview and the attachments.
