Namaste: Yoga App Concept -- Profile Photo (Daily UI 006)

This is a mockup for an iOS app that will help yoga lovers discover and meet the best yoga instructors in every city.

Every yoga teacher will have a profile on the site, and you'll be able to learn more about their favorite studios, poses, and personal motto.

I wanted to test adding handwriting to an iOS interface to give the profile more personality and to make the teachers feel a bit more human.

I remember old American Express ads where icons filled out questionnaires in their handwriting. They were fascinating to read.

I'm curious to see the role of handwriting as apps and messenging continue their dominance of pen and paper.

Perhaps there are creative ways to marry digital and analog and to preserve the art of handwriting in the process.
