De Tijd - newspaper app

A couple of years ago De Tijd won the award for best European newspaper of the year. In The Pocket was tasked with creating an app that was on par with the print version, both for the Flemish De Tijd and its French counterpart L'Echo. The first design was nice, but this complete redesign takes the cake. The app supports viewing in both landscape and portrait mode (on tablet), focuses heavily on readability and visuality and is truly intuitive in its usability.
