Mind Charity X Flow Creative

This was the second creative brief from Inkygoodness Collective 28-day brand illustration challenge in collaboration with FLOW Creative, a portfolio piece for Mind (not commissioned or affiliated, just personal work).

The theme of this illustrated brief was 'connection' and aims to encourage young people to spend a bit less time on their phones and a bit more time connecting with others IRL.

The overall brief was to create the visual style for this new campaign that will be used in an animated short film. We had to come up with the tagline and incorporate this into a hero image to be used across different touchpoints.

Alongside the hero image, illustration will also be used to in social media posts, on print advertising, in reports, supporters packs, downloadable resources and merchandise so consideration had to also be taken about how the wider brand world would look. I enjoyed this one and feel thoroughly stretched! Some hand made type and a montage hero image which was a new challenge for me, as well as some frame by frame animation to create a GIF.
