TACO - OVERCLOCKED!!!! + 4K UHD Wallpaper

Full resolution wallpaper, and the inspiration for this design can be found at the Imgur gallery here:

Two weeks ago, I built another workstation and worker node to add to my render farm. I use Blender's Cycles render engine for most of my animations, so it's important to for me to have multiple decent video cards to hardware accelerate my renders. Normally, I don't go for the super crazy overclocker type hardware, but for the 6th generation Intel processor I used in this build, I could only find one motherboard that would hold enough video cards for my purposes. It was an "EVGA Z170 Classified" motherboard, and its driver CD came with a wallpaper design(shown in the Imgur gallery) which seemed cool for about 10 seconds before I noticed that its execution flaws would drive me batty. In that 10 seconds though, it caught my attention with some of its design elements. So I studied what I liked about the design and made my own.

The 3 design elements from the original that I liked most were:

* A metallic diamond pattern in the background
* Sharp geometric metal text with a small, bright bevel
* Red glass outline behind the metal of the top face

I also thought that I should chose a word that means a great deal to me for my own wallpaper: "Taco". This is the result of my efforts. After a day long render, I realized that I didn't make my glass quite as sharp or transparent as I wanted, but with all of the post-processing I added to the design for glare and lens distortion, I'm very happy with my results. :)

I also produced a 4K UHD version of the design, because I know that 4k is an upcoming thing. Even my 15 inch work laptop already has a 3840 x 2160 display at this point. WHY DELL. WHY DO YOU NEED THAT MANY PIXELS ON A TINY DISPLAY. NO YOU DON'T. STOP IT. STOP IT NOW. But anyway - this nice large wallpaper will also scale down well for anything smaller than that stupid-large number of pixels.
