Goddess Bahuchar Maa ( बहुचरा माता )
Being a Gujarati , I wanted to create digital illustrations of the deities from our region. Here is the first one called Bahuchar Maa, goddess and कुलदेवी who is also worshiped in certain parts of Rajasthan.
Lord Shiva ( Shiva as a Groom - Somasundra Shiva )
I decided to create a representation of Lord Shiva called Somasundara(one who looks beautiful with the moon (as his diadem) because I couldn't find any well-known artwork that showed this particular form of Lord Shiva. The form called Somasundara is connected to Lord Shiva's marriage to Goddess Parvati. In this form, Lord Shiva becomes more beautiful than any other god or person. This form emphasizes the significance of marriage.
