A Drop in the Bucket

This is a one-color piece entitled "A Drop in the Bucket" that I designed and screen printed to help me deal with the fact that the Bureau of Land Management leases a lot of land in Wyoming to oil companies for Fracking and gas exploration. I used some pertinent imagery such as oil derricks, the droplet shape and faucets exploding like old faithful which they have been known to do near drilling sites. The main focal point of the piece is the Sage Grouse, a native bird to Wyoming that is especially threatened by oil and natural gas exploration.
