Hummingbird Gardens Logo

Hummingbird Gardens is a new venture that uses urban agriculture and school gardens as means of flavor exploration and environmental education. The name was inspired by a folk tale where a hummingbird helps make a difference by doing the best it can, and although small, its consistent efforts do pay off. We highlighted this story and the herbs of the garden by using fifteen leaves (the number of different basil varieties being grown) coming together to illustrate the body of the bird.
