OK, before I started on Zoidberg I did another tutorial first...this guy. During the course I was introduced to some different techniques to add more geometry based on the existing. It has its advantages, however when you're transposing it afterwards, it can get you into trouble. So this was actually a great learning experience on another level I hadn't seen coming.
Which is also why I'm not completely happy with the pose, but it'll do.
This time I also tried the decimation master instead of doing normal and displacement maps.
ZBrush, Maya and post in Photoshop.
Zoidberg is in the works and up next...
