Design better ui cards

For this mock project, I was inspired by @zanderwhitehurst's social media post, "Design Better UI Cards."

Improvements include:

  • Stacked the header on the same line to reduce vertical space.

  • Reduced the header font size for a more user-friendly title.

  • Introduced a new category labeled 'New,' accompanied by a star icon, aimed at boosting the conversion rate.

  • Kept the caption concise to minimize cognitive overload, limiting it to one line.

  • Created visual hierarchy by reducing space between the title and caption, and used a lighter font weight for the caption.

  • Added pricing information to bolster user trust and improve conversion rates.

  • Removed button to enhance user-friendliness.

  • Rounded the corners for a visually appealing design.

  • Introduced drop shadows to provide clearer visual cues.

  • Transitioned to dark mode to improve accessibility.

During this project, I encountered two hurdles that I've identified for future resolution. These include implementing a modern image carousel and integrating a 'like' feature with an animated heart.
