Copperhead Snake

Last month I collaborated with a fellow printmaker on an art show at his studio, where I supplied him with designs, and he printed them. It was a fun challenge, not only create an entire new body of work, but also to push his abilities as a screen printer, with overlays, transparent colors, and gradients. I was afraid that rushing to finish all the designs in time, some would fall flat, but I surprised myself by being excited about them all, up through the last one.

This snake is 13" x 19" and is a five color print, with two metallic overprint layers.
