Easter Flowers - Symbolism and Meanings
Easter is traditionally associated with flowers. It's the time of new beginnings which is celebrated for many centuries in virtually all religions. Christianity adopted several customs from Paganism and flowers are among them.
The most important flowery symbol in Easter is undoubtedly Easter Lilies which in religious iconography represents the Virgin Mary and the Resurrection of Christ.
Many other flowers bear strong symbolic power concerning Easter, so a simplified graphic representation of some of the most popular ones was created to help navigate through the wide selection of colorful blooms.
