Competitor Analysis
We took a good look at other reading tracker apps, checking out how they look, how people use them, and what cool features they have. This helped us figure out what's out there and inspired us to make our reading tracker app even better! 🚀
Survey
Engaging with our potential users through surveys revealed key insights:
75% expressed a desire for gamification
50% were open to joining book clubs
88% users reads e-books but can’t track them
and 50% were keen on detailed analytics
Based on our survey results, we assume:
A significant demand for gamification features to enhance user engagement.
A potential for fostering a community through book clubs, aligning with the interests of 50% of our user base.
With 88% of respondents identifying as e-book readers, it's clear that our community has a strong preference for digital reading. This insight encourages us to explore exciting opportunities, aiming to create a user experience that seamlessly integrates e-books and offers tailored features for our predominantly digital reading audience.

Easy reading start on the main screen with general statistic and possibility to add books, gamification elements for enhanced engagement on the People screen among thematic clubs and challenges.
Dedicated sections for book club participation and offline reading tracking.
UI
This design will help users easily track book progress, join challenges, find book clubs and just peacefully read the book and track some time. UI have inside of it brutalism nature in order to emphasis that reading is also a thing that can be not just interesting but also sociable and usefull skill for everybody despite their background. Simple, modern and a liitle brutal - that are the words about nowadays readers.
