UX Project Tracker / Blocker Visibility

Problem:

Managers using the Space platform have been unable to identify tasks that their employees are unclear about/or need extra resources for, on a daily basis. This has prevented managers from stepping in to provide the right help to their employees in a timely manner.

Solution:

• The main concept behind the solution is a system to reporting micro progresses throughout the day, which doesn’t invade anyone’s workflow. Each team member can check their own progress and be transparent on how others are doing.

• The solution addresses hurdles a user might face in seeking help. For example, the user might need answers to basic questions, or have requests that might face rejection. To address these issues, the user is allow to ask help anonymously. The user can directly communicate with other team mates or the manager, without each other knowing; to address complex situations.

• The need to report micro-progress is not mandatory. This allows the user to do focused work and not feel pressured; and only report when they want to. Not reporting progress also enables other team members or the manager to know their status, and decide to do a friendly follow-up, if they feel necessary.
