Notable Seattleites of 1889

Currently in the middle of an infographics project focusing on the Great Seattle Fire of 1889 and I made these swell little line art portraits of notable Seattleites at the time of the fire.

John Back is the "incompetent Swede" who accidentally started the fire that destroyed most of Downtown, Josiah Collins was the then-fire chief who (ironically enough) was away in San Francisco attending a fire safety conference at the time of the blaze, Robert Moran was Seattle's mayor at the time & pushed for a municipal water system afterwards, and Henry Yesler was Seattle's first millionaire whose deep pockets helped rebuild the city in an astounding 18 months. Why can't we work at the same speed for current projects (*cough* Viaduct replacement *cough*), Seattle city planners of 2015?
