Day 21: Disconnected W in a Circle

This is Day Twenty-One of Thirty Days of Logos, in which I share a new logo idea for my design studio, Wildfire Studios, every day for 30 days.

We're entering the last third of this now and it's starting to become a story of refinement more than it is constant new ideas — at least, that's how it's starting to feel. I really like Day Four and Day Fifteen, and this is a combination of both of those ideas.

I wanted to see if maybe I was missing something here: I really like the disconnected W because it fits my brief, in that I was hoping I could design something that looks like both a symbol and a letter, but a simple serif like Quarto might not be the best way to do it. I'm seeing the limitations of this design and approach here.
