Recapps was a blog I ran for a few months, which reviewed and highlighted iOS apps. I ended up shutting it down because it was taking up most of my free time, but ended up keeping the Twitter account going (@recappsblog) and occasionally post a mini review.

The main focus of the design is the faux app icon with the lowercase "a". The blue and soft gradient, along with the stroke and lowercase "a", are all a play on the iOS App Store icon. I didn't want to copy it exactly, but make it similar enough that the association would be made.
