Fion is an app that allows for situational awareness, risk analysis, detection, and spread prediction technology for wildfires.

The Challenge

The map in Fion’s mobile app is a crucial part of their product. It’s a large and intricate tool that allows for lots of flexibility at the expense of straightforwardness.

The Solution

To mitigate this, we created a tutorial for each function the map feature has to offer. Some of those key features include viewing hourly weather at a local location, checking the menu to access other screens, toggling between map layer types, and dropping pins or drawing containment lines at important points of interest.
