3.Challenges
The general idea of the platform was to create a way for property seekers to announce their specific needs to realtors and get responses, Emlak senin had a vast network of realtors across turkey that could address these needs but the agency did not have a one-place solution to broadcast these ads.
First the realtors would sign up in the platform in order to get access to the panel for a fee, then property seekers would fill up simple forms in the website with the information of their needs then these ads would be broadcasted and shown to the realtors in the panel, the agents then could make contact with the client and offer them their services.
As property seekers in Turkey come from different countries they should have been able to fill up forms in different languages and the forms needed to be simple.
Business team did not have enough budget to develop a complicated platform with a lot of functionalities and could not provide a big operation team to support the platform.
The website needed to be simple and minimal yet would be relatable to turkey atmosphere.
3.Solution and process
After conducting meeting with the business team, i got well acquainted with their business plan and their limitation as well; did competitor analyze on some of the well-known platforms to get the trend of design in Turkish market.
Went on to make an Information architecture and wireframes for website
After a meeting with the business team and get confirmation on wireframes, i moved on to design faze, a mood board was gathered to help me throughout design and an adapted material3 design system was conducted to insure an integrated experience throughout.
4.Results
After several tries for the interface and sharing them with the business team the final interface was approved and hand off to the business team for further process of the design, the final interface was designed in Turkish language and the responsibility for adding the other language was handled by the business teams themselves
Below you can see the unapproved and the final interfaces
