Personal Portfolio and Brand Identity - 2023

I’ve had my website since 2018.

It never changed.

Sure, sometimes I added a few new projects and client logos to boost my ego. Other than that, it was like Kevin Costner and Sean Connery in the 80s. (Almost) untouchable.

Eventually, in 2023, it was time for a change. A big change. I entirely recreated it.

But I didn’t just stop at the website. I re=imagined my entire identity.

Out with the old minimalism. In with something modern, funky, much more modern than the word ‘funky’. Collages, photo manipulations, I even created a rock version of my name. But just the first letter. Ain’t got time for the whole thing.

Look, I didn’t have much free time. A load of it went on my existing clients, and a load of it still does. But some of it I was spending at work on my website. That’s done now. Which means now I’ve got more free time.

And even if you don’t need a designer right now, have a look at the new branding. All my passions merged into one single identity. Still minimalist, but now with rich collages and photo artworks. Honestly, it shouldn’t work, combining drastically different fields like this. But it does.

It feels like a mix of a Tesla factory and Andy Warhol’s Factory, except with no cars. And maybe more soup cans.

And that’s design. Bringing together Musk, Warhol and me to one hell of a dinner party.
