Sketchbook drawing

Teaching an art class starting tomorrow, and wanted the first assignment to be like my first assignment in art school. I'll have the kids draw their initials in a way that tells me something about them. The reason is to see what they can do, and also learn a little about them, so that's why I wanted to do that as well. But to kick it up a bit, I'll have them make it into a sketchbook cover when they're finished. So here's my version of it - wanted to see how quickly I could do it (since it's an hour class), and also give them an example of what it could look like.

At the moment, my kids are also trying the assignment - they're coming up with some creative stuff! Will show those in the class tomorrow as well.
