R Parmigiani
In 2011, when I worked on the new brand with Creative Factory (now Meta Design Swiss) for Parmigiani, the Swiss watchmaker, the idea was to revamp from Augustea, designed by Aldo Novarse in 1951, as it was the source of their logotype. The project ended up to something much simple, but among earlier proposals, this open face version directly influence by Cristal designed by Remy Peignot, 1951.
