I’ll share my recent work with you. This time I’m interested in mascot-making for the Uranus team. Here is my process.

This mascot’s name is Zod. I was inspired by a hero from mobile legends game called ‘Uranus’. Unfortunately, have an exact name as our team name, then it combined with the origin of Uranus planet and Uranus in mythology. This mascot has 2 versions, the first one is when he landed on the planet. The second version is when he flies on the sky and moves across the galaxy.

Sketching ✏️

Here, i make a few ideas and variations of the mascot character for the Uranus team. I get 4 mascot variations with humanoid form and flying robot form.

Coloring 🎨

For the coloring, I use flat colors due to the art style

Artwork 🔥

Not forget for the final result, I usually add finishing like a full-background mascot illustration

After selecting a few options before, then I choose the humanoid form mascot for the main Uranus mascot
