La Habana

This is where I'm from. The city of Habana, Cuba.

This was the backdrop for some of my favorite childhood memories. Riding to the beach in my Dad's '51 Pontiac. Seeing the Power Rangers movie at the Cuban Academy of Sciences, housed in the capitol building-Cuba's pre-revolution government building. The many royal palm trees, our national tree, lining the museum next to my school. And, of course, the many times that I got to see the Sun set behind the mountains on the way back from the beach in my Dad's 51 Pontiac.
