UPC Medical Logo Design

A logo design for UPC Medical, a supplier of acupuncture and chiropractic products based in California, USA. As a retailer of traditional Chinese medicine and Asian healthcare, a design was needed to reflect on both the company’s own core philosophies and demographic cross-section of their client base.

The design incorporates the yin yang symbol, the concept of which within traditional Chinese medicine serves as the foundation of understanding the balance of health, diagnosing and treating illness. This symbol is placed within the ‘U’ of UPC, serving practically as a recognisable logomark for the company, as well as merging the traditional aspects of Chinese medicine with the modern culture of today’s society.
