YouNow - Portrait Streams

Portrait mode is one of the biggest projects I worked on at YouNow.

Streamers could only go live using Landscape mode in the past. Through research and surveying, I discovered a huge demand for Portrait streams.

This project required reworking the whole UI/UX of the platform.

I have updated the login screen, home page and streaming experience to

match the new product that we released. A lot of creativity had to go into the chat section, turning it into an adjustable slider for best viewing experience.

We have been observing a great increase in new user retention and viewers watch time. Long-term data is being collected, so I can start working on

the necessary updates for volume 2 of Portrait mode. Follow me to stay tuned.
