The Cave - Logo and Mark Design π§πΆ
Crafting a distinctive brand for a music band has always been on top of my to-design list, which is why I'm particularly thrilled about the new mark I created for Julian Lamadrid's latest project, The Cave.
The Cave's logo is composed of two distinctive marks. The primary wordmark elegantly flows from the letter A to V, imparting a delightful rhythm that lends a unique touch to the logo. Meanwhile, the secondary wordmark retains the same lettering but without the swinging motion, resulting in an alternate composition that maintains the essence and vibe without sacrificing its distinct character.

As I worked on this mark, I had a playlist filled with inspirational bands like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Daft Punk, David Bowie, and, of course, Julian himself. The influence of these iconic musicians is evident in the mark, adding a youthful and vibrant touch to the overall design.
