Creation of the illustrated sign and logo with the watercolor for the "Sable Show" boutique
Isabelle has been running the Sable Show clothing boutique on Saint-Barthélemy for several years. She asked me to redesign her corporate image and create her new sign using watercolor illustrations of tropical flowers and hummingbirds.
To do this, I used the new wallpaper in his store as a basis for choosing my watercolor shades, with three slightly mutated greens of different intensity and two warm colors, one orange and one red. From there, I worked on each element in large format so that I could digitize them and then use them in sufficiently good resolution for the size of the sign.
To create the sign, I made a composition from all my scanned elements. I then adapted it to two formats more suited to logo creation: a business card format and a button format, revising the composition to maintain a visual balance for each format.
