Role Models
“Role Models” is a quick little conceptual project I gave myself to play with digital collage and imagery of iconic female leaders from history. These women lived their life in a very public way and have since become almost archetypes in their own right, so I attempted to create environments for each image that felt like the backdrop for a theatrical performance.
Boudicca
Boudica or Boudicca was a queen of the ancient British Iceni tribe, who led a failed uprising against the conquering forces of the Roman Empire and famously burned the ancient city of Londinium (modern day London) to the ground. She is considered a British national heroine and a symbol of the struggle for justice and independence. (wiki)
