Role Models
“Role Models” is a quick little conceptual project I gave myself to play with digital collage and imagery of iconic female leaders from history. These women lived their life in a very public way and have since become almost archetypes in their own right, so I attempted to create environments for each image that felt like the backdrop for a theatrical performance.
Cleopatra
Cleopatra was Queen of the Ptolemaic Kingdom of Egypt from 51 to 30 BC, and its last active ruler. She formed romantic relationships and political alliances with the two most powerful men of the Roman Republic and increased Egypt's wealth beyond what her two predecessors were able to accomplish.
