My Precious Luna Kitty

If you haven't been following my personal account or stories on my other accounts here is the story behind my precious baby Luna illustration I have done.

The Husband and I sadly had to let our precious baby/kitty Luna cross the rainbow bridge Friday 4.28.23. She was fighting liver disease and then got an infection which caused her to go downhill fast. We knew she wasn't going to make it through this. We tried everything to get her better. The Vet tried everything as well. We had so many medications and food thrown at her and nothing was helping. It was a very stressful month in April. We didn't want to see her suffer anymore. Her last day with us she only wanted to lay around and sleep. Poor thing was so warm. We gave her all our love and kisses before she passed.

We had an in-home vet come out to our house to euthanize her called A Gentle Farewell based out of Elyria, Ohio. It was a very hard day. The emotions still hit me here and there. But I know she's no longer suffering or in pain anymore.

She's in heaven now playing with her favorite toy mouse and meeting all the other family pets we have lost in our lives. I miss her so much already. I miss her meows, lap cuddles, head boops, leg rubs and Luna taco cuddles (We called it Luna Taco because she spread out in between the bottom part of our legs when laying on couch recliners).

You are forever in our hearts and will never be forgotten. <3
