Renderlife

I recently found out that I startup I helped launch in 2012 has shut down. It was called Renderlife, and it was a premier marketplace for 3D models. On top of creating a great experience for both buyers and sellers we also had some very forward thinking ideas. We allowed you to preview the model in browser which was a first of its kind. We also had automated tools to check the quality of the model and find errors. Finally we ensured that all models worked across most 3D applications. Ultimately the company was not able to grow its revenues fast enough to stay in business, but it was a great learning experience for me.
