Icon set - for The Geek Gathering

Icons are an essential decorative detail that can make an identity original and recognizable. The icons with TGG are made to enhance the identity. The idea was to follow the form of the logo. Elements representing pixelation and glitching effect are used for details, similar to the logo.

Details

The word geek in the logo is made from custom letters, and the details used are included in the icons. Such as, for example, the connections of elements, the angles at which they are placed, border radius, the thickness of parts, etc. The essential elements of the icon are 2 px thick, and slightly more minor details can be 1 px wide.

The basic idea around the icons was to get the impression of movement and glitching, even though they are always static.

Icons can also serve as pictograms. Some well-known elements and shapes for visual needs are adapted to the identity to send the most original and better message possible.
