Animated logo

Debut shot here. Been working on an exciting futuristic/forward-thinking project. Proposed an animated logo, designed for a future world where the brand is only on screens/holograms/VR.

What would a good animated logo accomplish? What aspects of motion is ownable in the sense of identity?
