Samsung Galaxy View

The Samsung Galaxy View was the first of its kind, it was the largest Android mobile display in the market that delivered an unprecedented streaming media experience to customers worldwide.

The Galaxy View’s 18.4” Full HD screen was tailored for media consumption. From the screen size to content, the Galaxy View has been designed with streaming video in mind. The dedicated home screen for videos showcases various content services all in one place, making it incredibly easy and convenient for users to discover and watch entertainment with a simple tap.

Sporting a wide selection of entertainment features, the Galaxy View allowed users to take advantage of its large display and high quality stereo speakers. Customers enjoyed a new level of multimedia experience such as video, music and games - as well as richer social experiences with large screen video calls.

We worked to bring the Galaxy View to life, shaping and delivering the end-to-end product definition and experience. We drove the product incubation from ideation, design, through final production, and helped launch Samsung's entry into large screen portable displays. The product helped Samsung shed its prior reputation as a fast follower and established it as a first mover in new product categories.
