Great Thinkers - Timeline

This is a small part of a project in which I studied the concept of "The Mechanistic Worldview".

In “The Systems View of Life” by Fritjof Capra and Pier Luigi Luis, The Mechanistic Worldview is described as a philosophical idea that looks at the world and compares the way that it functions to the way that machines work.

Newton, Descartes and Galileo are three of the major contributors to this idea. These timelines are a brief summary of each of their lives and show some of the major work that they produced; work which contributed to this metaphysical concept.
